Uphold, a renowned digital currency platform, has announced the integration of the Ripple payment system, enabling transactions for its institutional investors. This move signifies significant progress for the XRP community, providing new opportunities to utilize Ripple's Liquidity On-Demand (ODL) service.

Integration of Ripple Payments on Uphold

Uphold's decision to integrate Ripple payments underscores the growing trust and utility of XRP in the financial world. Yassir Mobarak, founder of the investment firm Dizer Capital, expressed positivity about this development on social media. Mobarak emphasized Uphold's potential as an ODL partner for Ripple, facilitating transactions between the United States and the United Kingdom. This expansion of Uphold's services highlights Ripple's commitment to improving accessibility and efficiency in the digital payments ecosystem.

Previously, in October 2023, Ripple initiated a collaboration with Uphold to strengthen its cross-border payment infrastructure by enhancing its "crypto liquidity capabilities."

Pegah Soltani, Ripple's Head of Payments Product, highlighted that the new partnership with Uphold will enhance Ripple's infrastructure, and Uphold's specialized knowledge of liquidity will further increase the flexibility of cross-border payments worldwide.
