Upbit Announces Addition of 2 New Altcoins to Its Platform: MNT and POKT
Starting from March 27, 2024, the cryptocurrency exchange Upbit has introduced new digital assets to strengthen its position as a global digital asset exchange.
Upbit Adds MNT and POKT. While MNT can be used to trade KRW, BTC, and USDT pairs, POKT can be used to trade BTC and USDT pairs.
Users will be able to deposit MNT and POKT immediately. However, MNT only supports deposits from the Ethereum network.
To ensure secure transactions, Upbit imposes restrictions on some orders when adding new digital assets. For example, buy orders are restricted for about 5 minutes immediately after adding a new digital asset, and market and reserve orders are also restricted for the first hour.
